High School Programs

Sponsored by the Women in Engineering program, the College of Engineering offers three middle-high school pre-engineering programs. Two of the programs are one-day events for females interested in engineering, WiE Dream and WiE Explore. The other program is one-week summer camp, WiE Rise, where students learn about the different areas in engineering with hands-on activities designed to increase self-confidence, self-esteem, team building, communication and presentation skills.

In 2016, more than 50 students participated in the residential summer camps and met with engineers, engineering faculty and Ohio State students to learn about eight engineering fields such as chemical and biomolecular, automotive, robotics, and computer science. Learn more information here.
